Dr. Michael Lanspa is an associate professor of critical care medicine and pulmonary medicine at Intermountain Medical center, and the University of Utah. He has taught ultrasound and echocardiography nationally and internationally for several professional societies, including the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Society of Echocardiography. He directs the Intermountain Critical Care Echocardiography Service and Core Imaging Research Lab. His research interests include heart-lung interactions and septic cardiomyopathy.
